Car Flips Over After Driver Runs From Police

CLEVELAND- Police responded to reports of shots fired from a silver Buick Century in the 3700 block of E. 69th Street, just after 1 p.m., Thursday afternoon.

When they arrived, they tried to pull over the car, but the driver wouldn’t stop.

Police said after a short pursuit, the driver of the Buick lost control and the car flipped over and landed in a yard on Mound Ave.

The 19-year-old man was arrested, then taken to MetroHealth Medical Center to be evaluated.

Further investigation revealed that the car the suspect was driving was stolen from Garfield Heights.
