Police: Triple Stabbing Suspect Ran Out in Front of Traffic

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio — Police are investigating a triple stabbing in Mayfield Heights.

Authorities were called to the 1400 block of Golden Gate Boulevard shortly after 5 a.m. after receiving a 911 call for a multiple stabbing.

Two women and one man were taken to Hillcrest Hospital due to their injuries.

Their conditions are currently unknown.

Meanwhile, just before 6 a.m., the suspect’s vehicle was found in Solon.

Police said while they were searching for the suspect, he ran out in front of traffic on Rt. 422 westbound. He was struck by a box truck and is currently under guard at a local hospital.

422 was shut down for several hours, but was reopened just before 11 a.m.
