If you watched the Cleveland Browns defeat the Detroit Lions on television Thursday night, the big win was the most exciting part of the game.
But if you watched from inside FirstEnergy Stadium, you got quite a show when a streaker took to the field in the second half of the game.
The Cleveland Browns confirmed to FOX 8 Friday morning that the man was arrested and charged with criminal trespassing.
The Cleveland Division of Police identified him as Anthony Saveriano of Northfield, Ohio.
Video posted on YouTube shows the purported streaker being coaxed into running across the field by those sitting near him at the game.
“The camera’s ready for you,” one man can be heard saying on the video.
“Oh yeah! You can run right in front of them,” another man said.
The streaker asks, “Will you bail me out of jail?” before he is seen taking off his shirt and running onto the field.
Some Browns players got a good laugh out of what happened on the field.
“That was crazy. I, oh my gosh, one of their guys hit him and then I think one of the security guards, and I was like what is going on?” Browns tight end Jordan Cameron said.
“I looked away pretty quick,” Browns linebacker Paul Kruger said. “I saw the lines going after him.”
“It was a good laugh,” Browns defensive tackle Phil Taylor said while chuckling. “I was debating on whether to hit him.”
