CLEVELAND — A man was killed Friday when he fell out of a boat on Lake Erie, according to Cleveland Police.
Cleveland police responded to Dorchester Drive around 3:45 p.m. where Cleveland fire and Cleveland EMS were on the scene. The U.S. Coast Guard was responding on the water.
Cleveland police spoke with a witness who said his friend fell out of the boat. When he couldn’t get him back in, he went to get help.
The Coast Guard retrieved the man out of the water and raced to meet EMS at Wildwood boat landing. The man was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
His identity has not been released.
