CLEVELAND — On a day when it’s too hot to do much other than swim, the City of Cleveland is offering ways to stay cool.

While city outdoor pools are typically closed on Tuesdays, they will open at noon today.

The special pool days are offered when the temperature reaches 85 degrees or higher.

Tuesday’s high temperature was expected to be 92.

All outdoor pools are open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 7:30 p.m.

City spray basins are also available when the temperature reaches 80 or above.

People may use the pools at indoor rec centers as well.

There is no admission or fee charged for use of the City of Cleveland pools, spray basins and recreational programs.
