CLEVELAND-- Cleveland's outdoor public pools are usually closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, but once the thermometer goes above 85, the rules change and the splashing begins.

Cleveland’s free outdoor pools opened to the public the second week of June, but haven't been this packed until Tuesday.

Residents are now taking advantage of the city's 21 public pools, which will remain open through the second weekend of August.

Not so hot temps and rainy weather kept the crowds away in recent weeks, until now!

Fatima Jennings of Cleveland visited the Ken Johnson pool on Woodland Avenue Tuesday afternoon and said, "Gotta enjoy the weather. We've been waiting on it all summer; finally get a chance to enjoy it."

When temperatures go above 85 degrees, city pools will be open 7 days a week from noon to 7:30 p.m.
