CLEVELAND– FOX 8 has learned Ariel Castro will plead not guilty Wednesday to the more than 600 new charges he faces.

Castro’s attorney says the not guilty plea will be made at the arraignment scheduled for 11 a.m. in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court.

The 53-year-old is accused of kidnapping Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus and holding the three hostage at his Seymour Avenue home in Cleveland for nearly a decade.

He also faces child endangerment charges for the alleged treatment of his 6-year-old daughter that he fathered with Berry.

Castro had asked a judge to visit with the 6-year-old but that request was denied.
