AUSTINTOWN, Ohio — An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper, who was arrested at a Cleveland Browns game in 2011, has been arrested again.

Jason Fantone was arrested Monday on an OVI charge. He was found around 8 p.m. in the parking lot of the Austintown Plaza sleeping in his car, which was running.

Police had to shout and shake Fantone to get him to wake up.  Reports state his speech was slurred and he seemed confused.

The report also states that Fantone was asked to leave BW3’s restaurant because he was intoxicated.

He refused to give a breath sample.  Police say during the entire booking process he was loud, sarcastic and verbally confrontational.  He is due in court at 9 a.m. July 10.

Fantone was arrested January 2, 2011 after he was accused of throwing peanuts at two deputies at Cleveland Browns Stadium and then vandalizing a jail cell.
