BRATENAHL, Ohio-- Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened along Interstate 90 in Bratenahl Sunday night around 6 p.m.

Harrison Daman, 30, said he was heading home to Painesville after visiting family in Northwest Ohio for his son's birthday, when a car next to them swerved into their lane.

His girlfriend and son were both in the car.

Daman told FOX 8 he hit the brakes to get out of the way, but the driver came right back at them- hard; this time, running them into the concrete median wall. "The driver mirror and the one side was pretty banged up. He got us pretty good there," said Daman.

The family's Dodge Durango bounced off the wall a couple times before it skidded to a stop.

According to the police report, the driver took off.

Daman said, "Everyone came out of it okay; that's the important thing."

He's hoping someone can help identify the driver who hit him.
