SOLON, Ohio — A man’s call to police for a fairly common problem led to his arrest.

On June 21, King Lawson found he had locked his keys inside of his car.

An officer responded to a location along Bainbridge Road in Solon to help the 34-year-old.

Lawson, of Richmond Heights, signed the appropriate waiver and the officer got to work.

According to the Solon Police Department, once the car was opened, the officer immediately smelled raw marijuana, then noticed a plastic container on the floor containing what appeared to be marijuana.

Thirty-seven individually wrapped bags of suspected marijuana were removed, totaling 28.7 grams.

A suspected marijuana cigarette was also found.

Lawson was arrested and charged with trafficking.
