Lawmakers are once again taking on teen tanning.

Ohio House members began hearing testimony to House Bill 131; that would ban teens under the age of 18 from using a tanning bed.

The bill prohibits tanning salons from allowing minors to use sun lamps unless they have a prescription.

Ohio law currently states that teens 16 and under can use a tanning bed, if they have written permission from a parent or guardian.
