JACKSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A purse snatching suspect’s attempt at a clean break didn’t work out because her car was apparently broken.
Sondra Ann Jackson, 24, was charged with two counts of theft in Monday night’s incident.
According to the Jackson Township Police Department, Jackson grabbed a purse and wallet from two people at Quaker Steak & Lube on Dressler Road NW in North Canton.
When she tried to take off in her car, it didn’t start.
Jackson returned the items when she was confronted and then tried to run away but was caught by a responding officer.
According to the police report, Jackson admitted to taking the items.
