CLEVELAND, Ohio — Its name was changed months ago.

But Friday, crews began installing the new ‘FirstEnergy Stadium’ sign at the facility.

The ‘Cleveland Browns Stadium’ sign was removed last month.

The Browns were given the rights to sell the stadium’s name when the team came back in 1999. New owner Jimmy Haslam announced the deal with FirstEnergy in January.

It’s the first time in Browns history that a corporate name will refer to the home of the orange and brown.
