Confirmed Tornado Touchdowns

CUSTAR, Ohio — The National Weather Service is investigating several possible tornado touchdowns during Thursday morning’s storms.

An EF-0 tornado was confirmed in Wood County, just west of Custar around 12:15 a.m.

The National Weather Service said winds were estimated at 75 miles per hour.

A second brief tornado was confirmed in Marion County near Prospect.

The National Weather Service is investigating other possible touchdowns.

Dozens of watches and warnings were issued for Northeastern Ohio late Wednesday into early Thursday morning, including several tornado warnings.
