Indians Win Two in a Row

The Indians won their second game in a row on Wednesday night in Arlington, Texas, 5-2 over the Rangers.

Ubaldo Jimenez pitched 5 innings, gave up four hits and one run. That was courtesy of a Leonys Martin solo homer in the 3rd inning.

Cleveland got on the board in the second inning when Mike Aviles spanked a two-run homer.  They added another run to take a 3-0 lead when Michael Brantley drove home Michael Bourn with a basehit.

With Cleveland leading 3-1, the Wahoos added to the lead in the 5th inning. Jason Kipnis ripped a solo shot for a 4-1 lead. Carlos Santana doubled in another run for the 5-1 lead.

Cleveland is off on Thursday and hosts the Washington Nationals beginning Friday night.
