BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio– A man is arrested after allegedly pretending to be an FBI agent.

Dean Lyden, 28, was charged with impersonating an officer, after police said he was spotted inside Giant Eagle in Broadview Heights wearing an FBI baseball cap and talking into his sleeve.

The Toledo man told police he was acting on a childhood fantasy and had dressed as an FBI agent in other cities, as well.

There was a report of a man matching Lyden’s description impersonating an agent in the Richfield Giant Eagle earlier this year.
