STOW, Ohio — Black bear sightings are in full effect this summer with sightings reported all over northern Ohio.
The latest occurred at around 8 a.m. Monday in Stow, just west of State Route 91 in the Heather Hills neighborhood, according to the Stow Police Department’s Facebook page.
Last month, Stow residents reported a bear sighting on Gates Lane.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says black bears are usually fearful of people. However, if you see a bear, keep your distance and never approach the animal.
