When you put money in the tip jar at Starbucks, who should split the cash?

It’s an issue New York’s State Court of Appeals will decide.

According to The Inquisitr, there are two separate cases going before the court.

Both involve “shift supervisors.” They rank slightly higher than baristas, but are not more highly paid. The shift supervisors argue that makes them entitled to a share of the tip jar. Lawyers in one case say the shift supervisors do “98 percent” the same customer service work ground-level baristas do.
