Students in Massachusetts helped to rewrite their high school’s cell phone policy.

According to WGGB, the pilot program allows students to use their devices at lunch or in designated areas.

One sophomore said cell phone use was problem because everyone texted in class.

The school will test out the new policy for three months, but the superintendent could stop it at any time, WGGB reported.
