Baby Giraffe in Ohio Makes its Debut

SUGARCREEK, Ohio — Visitors may now get to know one of the giraffes living in Tuscarawas County.

A baby giraffe born at the Farm at Walnut Creek made its debut.

It was born on May 16 and is now walking, sitting, standing and nursing properly.

Guests can see the male giraffe and its mother, Mary, in an outdoor area, weather permitting.

The Farm at Walnut Creek has seven giraffes in its collection and houses more than 500 domestic and exotic animals from six different continents.
