Officials: Teens Injured in Crash; Alcohol Involved

NAVARRE VILLAGE, Ohio — Three teenagers are recovering Sunday morning after an overnight car crash.

According to the Canton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 2:30 a.m. on Fohl Road near Kemary Avenue in Navarre Village.

The driver, 19-year-old Corey R. Wagner, was driving a 2002 Dodge Stratus when he lost control and went off the side of the road. The vehicle then overturned and landed on its top.

Wagner was ejected from the vehicle, but suffered minor injuries.

Authorities say the front passenger, Alexander King,17, ran away from the scene but was later located by Navarre Police. He also suffered minor injuries.

Backseat passenger, Tyler Weisgarber, 17, had to be removed from the vehicle by EMS. He was transported to Mercy Hospital where is he listed in critical condition.

Investigators believe alcohol is a factor in the crash.
