My Town: 16 FREE Cleveland Orchestra Events

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Orchestra is holding several free events for local students and residents in the Gordon Square Arts District.

The orchestra, along with the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, will perform 16 concerts from Saturday, May 11 through Friday, May 17.

The concerts will be held in the following locations:

Saturday, May 11

  • Gypsy Beans & Baking Co., 6425 Detroit Ave. at 10:30 a.m.
  • La Sagrada Familia, 7719 Detroit Avenue at 11 a.m.
  • Stockyard Meats, 6105 Detroit Ave at 12 p.m.
  • Cleveland Public Theatre, 6415 Detroit Ave at 6 p.m.

Sunday, May 12

  • Battery Park Wine Bar, 7524 Father Frascati Ave. at 6 p.m.

Monday, May 13

  • Capitol Theatre, 1390 W. 65th St at 9 a.m.
  • Michael J. Zone Recreation Center, 6301 Lorain Ave at 5 p.m.

Tuesday, May 14

  • Reinberger Auditorium, 5209 Detroit Ave at 12 p.m.
  • Sweet Moses, 6800 Detroit Ave. at 6:15 p.m.
  • Happy Dog, 5801 Detroit Ave at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, May 15

  • St. Augustine Health Campus, 7801 Detroit Ave. at 6:30 p.m.
  • Spice Kitchen + Bar, 5800 Detroit Ave. at 7 p.m.
  • Happy Dog, 5801 Detroit Ave. at 8 p.m.

Thursday, May 16

  • St. Colman Catholic Church, 2027 W. 65th St. at 7:30 p.m.

 

The Cleveland Orchestra will conclude their week of free concerts with their Education concert on Friday, May 17, at 11 a.m. at the St. Colman Catholic Church. A concert will also be held at 78th Street Studies at 1300 W. 78th Street at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
