CLEVELAND, Ohio -- They went from almost disbelief to realization and finally a rescue.
Cleveland 911 dispatch tapes released Wednesday give a glimpse of how the situation unfolded for dispatchers and police when they were told Amanda Berry had been found on Monday.
During the six-minute call, police were initially dispatched to reports that a female "says she's Amanda Berry and had been kidnapped 10 years ago."
It progresses to the rescue, where Berry, Michelle Knight and Gina DeJesus were all safe, crying and talking to police.
