Missing Teens Found; 3 Brothers Arrested
Cleveland police said both missing teenagers were found Monday at a home on Seymour Ave.; along with a third girl, Michelle Knight.
Police were not releasing details on the circumstances surrounding Knight’s disappearance.
Late Monday night, police told our Kevin Freeman that three arrests have been made in connection with the girls’ disappearances.
The men, ages 54, 52 and 50, are brothers.
One of them has been identified as Ariel Castro.
Kevin Freeman also reported during FOX 8 News at 10 p.m. that DeJesus and Berry were in the Seymour Ave. home the entire time.
Police said they initially received a 911 call from Amanda Berry.
Berry, DeJesus and Knight are at MetroHealth Medical Center.
A doctor said the girls are in fair condition; but that’s all the hospital would reveal.
Cleveland police will release more information at a press conference at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
On April 21, 2003, 16-year-old Berry called her sister to tell her she was getting a ride home from work at the Burger King on West 110th Street and Lorain Avenue.
After that, she disappeared.
A year later in 2004, Gina DeJesus disappeared. She was last seen leaving school on Lorain Ave. Gina was 14.
Searches and vigils have been held throughout the years to try and find the girls.
Now, amazingly, both girls have been found alive.
