CLEVELAND– There is a new movement from the friends of a murdered Beachwood woman.

Just days after Cleveland police released surveillance video of a possible suspect, loved ones of Aliza Sherman are doing their part in helping catch a killer.

They have created a Facebook community page titled, “Justice For Aliza Sherman.”  In just two days, the page has received 1,200 likes from the community, all wanting to help solve the murder, which happened in downtown Cleveland March 24.

On Thursday, friends also put up posters near the crime scene, East 13th and Hamilton Avenue, where Sherman was stabbed 11 times.

The posters, they say, are to remind the public to offer tips to police if they know anything about this mystery.  The reward has now been boosted to $25,000 to anyone with information, leading to an arrest.

Sherman leaves behind four children, and was a beloved nurse in Beachwood.
