Kent State Issues Warning After Robbery

KENT, Ohio — Kent State University officials on Monday issued an alert to students after an early morning robbery at a store near campus.

It happened at around 3 a.m. at the Circle K on Main Street, across from White Hall.

Kent police say two men held up the store at gunpoint, demanded cash, then took off from the scene on foot.

One suspect was described as being heavyset, wearing blue jeans and a black jacket with a zipper. The other was described as being thin, wearing a light-colored hoodie, light-colored cargo pants, dark tennis shoes and an orange backpack.
