CLEVELAND — A man is charged after breaking into an east side home naked, according to Cleveland Police.

Saturday evening, a 16-year-old victim says she was approached by Steven Walton at a nearby corner store.

Police say Walton asked her if she wanted to go downtown. When she said no, he handed her $20 that she accepted. The victim told police she felt Walton was making sexual advances towards her.

Later in the evening, the teen was with her mother and sister at home when they heard a knock on the door around 8 p.m.

“Me and my daughters were sitting downstairs watching TV when we heard a knock at the door. When I looked out, I see a butt naked man banging on my window,” the mother said in her statement to police.

The mother told her daughters to go upstairs and lock the door before Walton broke the glass, came inside, and told the victim “I want what I’m due, or I’m going to [expletive] y’all up.”

The victims were not hurt.

When police arrived, they found the front window shattered and blood on the glass, couch and the door knobs.

Walton was arrested at his home. He’s facing charges for aggravated burglary, importuning, public indecency and contempt of court.
