The owners of a grocery story chain that started in Northeast Ohio are accepting an apology from a man asking for forgiveness.

A customer only known as "Andy" says he stole some candy bars from a local Fazio's store back in the 1980s.

He recently sent a letter to Fazio's to apologize for his actions.

It included a $150 money order for the cost of the candy bars, plus interest and inflation.

Lisa Fazio says the family accepted the apology.
