It's Tribe time today, and fans heading to the home opener are more worried about the weather than the opposing team: the New York Yankees!
With scattered thunderstorms on the horizon, fans may want to take their umbrellas to Progressive Field.
A lot of fans heading to today's game will experience downtown for the first time since the Innerbelt Bridge Project really got going. Factor in the new casino, which will probably be packed today, and things are looking a lot busier downtown, and may be a lot slower as well.
Game time is at 4:05 p.m., so not only will you have fans trying to get into downtown, you'll have business people ending their day and trying to get out.
It has the makings of a big headache; however, public transportation should ease some of that tension. One piece of advice, though: get there early.
