My Town: NE Ohio Celebrates National Library Week

LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — The countdown to National Library Week has officially begun at several library systems around northeast Ohio.

The Lorain Public Library has released an event schedule for the system’s National Library Week celebration. The week kicks off on Sunday, April 14 and runs through Saturday, April 20.

On April 14, the Main Library at 351 W. Sixth Street will host a book wreath making event as part of the Adult Services Department’s Recycle a Book Program. On Wednesday, April 17, kids and their parents can watch the Jungle Bob’s Reptile Show.

National Library Week will at conclude at the Avon Branch Library with a Community Read-a-Thon on Saturday, April 20 at 12 p.m.
