Police Investigate Man’s Death as Homicide

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland police are investigating the death of a 35-year-old Cleveland man found shot in his home Monday.

According to reports, police were called to check on the welfare of a man in the 2800 block of East 124th Street just before 9:30 a.m. The victim’s downstairs neighbor had heard water running in his apartment through the night and had not heard from him.

When police arrived, they found the victim in his front hallway dead with a gunshot wound to the head.

The official cause of death will be determined by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.
