CLEVELAND — Chefs from all around northeast Ohio are battling to see who has the best chili recipe, and all for a worthy cause.

The Autism Society of Greater Cleveland is holding its eighth annual Chili Cook Off on Thursday, April 11 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. More than 40 amateur and professional chefs from 30 local restaurants will invite attendees to sample their chili, who will then determine who came out on top.

The event will be held in The Holiday Inn ballroom located at 6001 Rockside Road in Independence.

Tickets for the cook off are $20 per person, and $10 for kids ages 12 and under with proceeds benefiting the Autism Society of Greater Cleveland. The event will feature games, door prizes and Fox 8’s own Todd Meany will also be in attendance.
