Police Bust Party, Arrest Dozens

BRIMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Brimfield police had their hands full on Saturday night when they arrested 25 people at a party.

According to Captain Chris Adkins, everyone arrested was ‘high school-age,’ and 15 of them were considered juveniles.

A noise complaint was made around 11 p.m. and a possible fight was also reported.

Officers responded to a home on Meloy Road in Brimfield Township where they made the roundup.

Charges stemming from the incident included tampering with evidence, underage consumption, contributing to a minor, and cultivation of marijuana.

An adult was charged with multiple counts of contributing to a minor for hosting the mostly underage party.

Police also encountered a male who had an outstanding warrant out of Oklahoma for forging a bad financial document.

The Kent Police Department assisted.
