Injuries Reported in RTA Bus Accident

car2CLEVELAND — A street in downtown Cleveland was closed on Tuesday following an accident involving an RTA bus.

According to RTA spokesperson Mary Shaffer, a car made a left turn in front of the bus and the two collided at East 4th Street and Euclid Avenue around 10:34 a.m.

Euclid Avenue was closed between East 9th Street and Public Square.

The trolley system will also be rerouted for a short time.

EMS said nine people were taken to area hospitals, but details on their conditions were not known.
