CLEVELAND– A female officer for the Cleveland Police Department has been suspended for five days for improper conduct and insubordination.

Cleveland police said the suspension stems from unauthorized photos and messages put on social media on Feb. 27.

Police also said a male recruit was fired and let go from the training academy for the same reason.

It’s unclear if the two knew each other or if the incidents were related in any way.
