Victim Crashes Into Home After Shooting

CLEVELAND — A man who was shot during what police believe was a robbery attempt in Cleveland crashed into a home as he drove away.  He later died.

Around 3 a.m. on Sunday, the man and two females were driving near East 149th Street and St. Clair Avenue.

The Cleveland Division of Police said the man stopped when he encountered a group of people, and that’s when another male approached and fired multiple shots into the vehicle.

The victim was hit in the chest several times.

One of the passengers helped him drive to East 144th Street near Nell, where he hit a house.

He later died at MetroHealth Medical Center.

The victim’s identity has not been released.
