Strongsville Strike: Teacher Charged with Reckless Operation

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio– A Strongsville teacher was charged Thursday with reckless operation.

Police said Chris Koval, 37 of Brunswick Hills, was driving in the area of Kinsner Elementary School, just before 8 a.m. Thursday.

Police said Koval operated his vehicle in a reckless manner directed at a van transporting school employees to the elementary school.

Koval was charged with one count of reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

FOX 8 spoke with Koval Thursday afternoon. He said he was cited.

Koval said he’s a teacher at Strongsville High School and he’s also a coach.

Strongsville teachers went on strike on Monday.
