AKRON, Ohio — Police in Akron are looking for a burglar who broke into a pizza shop and made away with some loose cash and a chocolate lollipop.

It happened early Saturday morning at the Fiesta Pizza and Chicken on Newton Street.

According to store manager Kevin Ziler, the thief was caught on surveillance video breaking the glass to the store window, then heading straight for the cash register.

The burglar at first tried to use a pizza fork to force the drawer open, but when that failed, he resorted to throwing the register to the ground.

Luckily, he only made away with about $15, according to a police report.

Ziler said the man rummaged around the store for about 30 minutes. At some point, he cut himself and dripped blood all over the business.

Police reportedly collected some of that blood for DNA testing.

Before he took off, the burglar took an Easter carrot chocolate sucker, which he can be seen eating on the video.

The suspect is described as a man between 25-35 years of age, with brown hair. He was wearing a blue denim jacket with white sleeves and a grey or white hooded sweatshirt.
