WARREN, Ohio — The U.S. Marshals arrested a man in Columbus on Saturday in connection with a Warren murder.

Olonzo Murry was apprehended in the morning and is expected to be brought back to Warren in the next few days.  He is currently being held on a weapons charge.

A Warren police spokesperson could not be reached to discuss the arrest.

The murder happened at one of the city’s hotspots, the Sunset Lounge on East Market Street, shortly after 2 a.m. January 1st.

Cory Blackwell, of Warren, was killed.

So far, no one has been charged with the murder.

The bar, which is located near the downtown area, had been embroiled in controversy for several months. It closed down after the murder.

City council had been trying to get the bar shut down prior to the shooting, but hearings to pull the liquor license had been postponed twice.
