I-90 Reopened After Accidents

LAKE COUNTY, Ohio — I-90 westbound in Lake County was reopened just after 5 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

A portion of the interstate was shut down for about six hours after several accidents because of snow and slippery conditions.

Just before 11 a.m., the Ohio State Highway Patrol closed I-90 westbound and eastbound between SR 44 in Lake County and SR 534 in Ashtabula County because of accidents in the area.

The eastbound portion of the interstate was reopened before 3 p.m.
