CLEVELAND -- The legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will live on through the lives of several local high school students.
The students were honored at the 36th annual Dr. King "Celebrate the Dream of a King" event at the Cuyahoga Community College Metropolitan Campus. The event also featured a performance by the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra and acclaimed jazz musician Avery Sharpe.
Also part of the annual celebration was a speech performance by South Euclid students Taylor Wynne, 8th grader at Memorial Junior High School, and Tyler Wynne, 10th grader at Brush High School.
The annual Dr. King celebration is the longest running MLK Day event in the city of Cleveland.
