Police: Suspected Bank Robber Had Sword Disguised as Cane

CLEVELAND, Ohio- Cleveland Police First District Officers have arrested a man they say robbed the Charter One Bank on Lorain Avenue.

Officers responded to the bank for reports of a robbery on January 2 and received the suspect’s description.

Cleveland Police spotted the suspect, Charles Quinn, 31, a short time later and stopped him.

Officers say Quinn had a pellet gun, throwing knife and a sword disguised as a cane.

He also allegedly had $1,450.00 on him which matched the amount taken from the bank.
