4 Hurt in Fire at Lordstown GM Plant

LORDSTOWN, Ohio — Four people were taken to the hospital after a fire erupted at the Lordstown GM plant on Friday night.

The plant is located at 2300 Hallock-Young Road.

According to Chief Travis Eastham with the Lordstown Fire Department, contractors who were welding caught some oil on fire.

The oil was sucked through grating into the ventilation system.

The victims were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
