MILWAUKEE — The Cleveland Cavaliers held off the Milwaukee Bucks for the win Saturday night while away, 94-82.
The Wine & Gold came out to a strong start, never relinquishing a lead that was at one point as much as 20 points over the Bucks in the third quarter. Cavs point Guard Kyrie Irving also posted a buzzer beating 3-pointer to end the third–helping to clinch a much needed win to halt a 9-game losing skid.
Guard Dion Waiters led the Cavs with a game high 18 points, including 5 boards and 2 assists. Forward C.J. Miles was close behind with 16 points, 2 boards and an assist, while Irving had 15 points, 5 boards and 4 points.
The Cavs are off for a few days before facing the Washington Wizards away on December 26. The team is now 6-23.
