SANDUSKY, Ohio — A convicted drunk driver was charged with the same offense for the fifth time, only this time, with her son in the car.
Perkins Township police responded Saturday night to Bogart Road and Columbus Avenue, after a caller reported an impaired driver, weaving off the road more than 20 times.
That’s where an officer arrested 32-year-old Brandi Feltis, whose 8-year-old son was observed in the backseat of her car.
Police say she failed field sobriety tests.
They say several bottles of alcohol, including rum, were found inside the car. Feltis told police the alcohol belonged to her husband.
A family member came to care for her son, after the arrest.
