Local Community Holds Vigil for Newtown, Conn.

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio -- Several members of a local community came out to show support for Newtown, Connecticut Wednesday evening.

They remembered the Sandy Hook shooting victims with a candlelight vigil, and passed out flowers and balloons in front of the Strongsville police station. The group also sang songs to honor the 26 victims, 20 of which were first grade students at Sandy Hook.

Organizers say they also prayed for piece for the Newtown community.

Authorities are still investigating the deadly shooting, in which the shooter also took his mother's life.
