The Cavaliers snapped a five-game losing streak on Tuesday night beating the Los Angeles Lakers at home, but they couldn’t start a winning streak on Wednesday in Indiana as the Pacers beat the Cavs 96-81.
The Cavaliers have just two road victories this season and appeared early on to be heading for a third.
C.J. Miles, who had a big game on Tuesday against the Lakers, continued his hot shooting in Indiana, he scored 23 points in the first half and the Cavs at one point had a 15-point lead in the game.
But it was a tale of two halves. The Pacers climbed right back into the game in the third quarter when they outscored Cleveland 28-12 and they controlled the game from there.
C.J. Miles for the second night in a row led the Cavaliers with 28 points.
Kyrie Irving scored 9. The Pacers were led by Paul George who had 27 points. The Cavs were playing without the services of Omri Casspi who missed the game because of stomach aches.
The Cavs return home on Friday to take on the Milwaukee Bucks at Quicken Loans Arena.
