- 3 eggs
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 2 Tb butter
- 1 cup pecans
Beat eggs, and then add sugar, butter, and syrup. Stir until thoroughly mixed.
Pour 1-cup pecans into a nine (9) inch Pillsbury’s regular piecrust.
Pour ingredients over pecans.
Cover crust edge with aluminum foil to prevent over browning.
Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until you see a crack in middle of pie.
What makes it the best pecan pie ever?
I double the recipe, but make three pies (not two).
I put 1-cup of good Arkansas pecans in each of three pie crusts.
Then I divide the ingredients into 3 equal parts and pour over pecans.
Place all 3 pies in oven together and bake 375 temp for 40 minutes.
