A girl in New Jersey thinks there is nothing wrong her little brother, who wants to be a chef, playing with an “Easy-Bake Oven.” That’s why she has petitioned Hasbro to put a boy on the box.

Some toy makers are taking notice of the growing number of boys and girls wanting to play with toys traditionally marketed for the opposite sex. Lego’s are being sold in pink containers. And Barbie is getting into the construction business.
