FNTD Playoffs Week #2: Wildcats Pounce The Blue Devils

The Mogadore Wildcats pounced on the Berlin Center Western Reserve Blue Devils 28 to 7. Mogadore’s Kasey Beard was the first to score with a 31-yard pass from quarterback Anthony Ricci. The Blue Devils got on the board with a touchdown run in the second quarter by Tim Cooper. The teams were tied at the half.
Mogadore came out of halftime with fire and plenty of motivation. First play of the third quarter, Gary Strain ran 75 yards for his first touchdown of the night, putting the Wildcats up 14-7. Strain scored yet another touchdown in the fourth quarter finishing the game with 220 yards and 3 touchdowns.
The Wildcats improved their record to 12-0 as the Blue Devils ended their season at 9 and 3. Mogadore will play Youngstown Christian next week.
